    Street Stall July 2010

This is the Street stall project I did in July last year!

    The Borrower Arrietty

To welcome the arrival of the animated movie 'The Borrower Arrietty' (Karigurashi no Arrietti) a group of Hong Kong miniaturists have reproduced scenes from the movie with miniature displays. The movie centers around a family of people 10 centimeters tall living among humans.

The display will be at Grand Century Place in Mong Kok, from November 18th to December 3rd January 2nd. I have contributed a room box. See you there!

Where to buy miniatures in Hong Kong

The basement levels of the CTMA Centre in Mong Kok has several shops that sell miniatures and dolls. They are usually open only after 4pm.

Also in Mong Kok is the UML Hobby store which sells factory produced items. Update: they have an additional store at Langham Place with the old store being used for clearance items.

You may find a small number of collectables and hand made items at In's Point (opposite MK1 Digital Mall) in Yau Ma Tei. This mall is also usually only open at night.
